Beyond the borders of the mighty British Empire, in the lands that used to be part of the once vast Spanish New World Empire, bold heroes and adventurers made their mark on the world of the Victorian Era. Join us for an entertaining conversation about the historical and fictional heroes of 19th century Latin America. Historical heroes such as the courageous Puerto Rican pirate Roberto Cofresi, last of the great pirates of the Caribbean, or fictional heroes such as Don Diego de la Vega, better known as El Zorro. Captain Quaestor is a retro-futuristic scholar, an adventurer, and captain of the Aethership Crimson Hammer. He is also an administrator of the Chicagoland Steampunk Society, and active member of the steampunk community in general. Hailing from the island of Puerto Rico, Captain Quaestor is dedicated to the advancement of steampunk, creativity and imagination.
