Locked into Vacancy Entertainment (L.I.V.E.) is a podcast and stage production in the style of old-time radio recorded in front of a live audience in Chicago, Illinois. L.I.V.E. features larger-than-life characters, over-the-top comedy, and good-to-the-last-drop shenanigans. Foley artists and musicians share the stage to create original sound effects and music that transport the audience into the world of each adventure. Audience participation is encouraged to provide laughs, gasps, and applause, creating an unforgettable experience you can enjoy again and again!

History –

Founded in 2013, Locked Into Vacancy Entertainment grew from the idea of creating original stories in the style of classic, old-time, radio of the 1940’s. On August 22nd, 2013, L.I.V.E. performed their first show at the Christian Fellowship Church in Chicago, IL. Under the name The Broson’s Lozenges Astounding Imagination Showcase Extravaganza Radio Show. The performance consisted of three original serials, and three satirical commercials. Since that first show, L.I.V.E. has performed on a bi-monthly basis, then moving to a monthly basis, producing more than a hundred original stories, commercials, and songs across the greater Chicagoland area with a company of over 30 artists—including actors, writers, directors, musicians, Foley specialists, technicians, and designers.
