This past week or so, we moved the Entertainment programming forward in a number of different ways. Both Vourteque (pictured above) and our Sound Engineer Timothy Lawrence conducted their site inspections of what will be the main stage of the Exposition in the LaSalle Ballroom. Plans are afoot with Vourteque for some great tunes and thrilling sights at the Midway Masquerade on Saturday, September 28th, and Lawrence is hard at work to make sure that all the bands and music sounds fantastic!

Recently we held a poll on the Exposition’s Facebook Event Page for what bands and performers that you would like to see at the show, and overwhelming the number one choice was the legendary Professor Elemental . . . so we contacted him, but unfortunately he not available that weekend, however, he has expressed enthusiasm at playing the Chicago Steampunk Exposition another year! Meanwhile work continues to add some amazing acts to the Entertainment line up.

This week, we also welcomed Patricia Marie-Lucille Bily to the Exposition team; she will be working as the Con-Ops Assistant and Volunteer Coordinator.
