The Steam & Sorcery Live Action Role Play (LARP) game mystery is an immersive weekend long, hotel wide event that places you as the central character in your story. During Opening Ceremonies (6/11/27 – 8PM on the main stage) “Space 1893“ mystery will be revealed . . . but who will step forward to solve it? A series of clues spread around the convention space, and interactions with a cast of characters, will lead you deeper and deeper into the investigation . . .

The “Space 1893” Plot
September 1893 saw the return of Major Thompson’s Cavorite Sphere from a space mission to the edge of the charted cosmos. Touchdown occurred in Lake Michigan and the sphere was ferried to the nearby Exposition shores where it was to be opened for Thompson’s triumphant return.
The mission, however, was not without its rivals and was fraught with saboteurs determined to bring about failure for the Cavor Space Program.
