There are now 41 weeks left until the gates of the Chicago Steampunk Exposition swing open to a weekend of eclectic eccentricity!
Work continues on our official logo, and a wonderful redesign for the website, both of which we plan to reveal in the New Year. Also in the New Year, we will have a new wave of post card size flyers that we need to spread wide and far across Chicagoland, so we shall be looking for volunteers to help with distribution and marketing.
Currently we are reviewing the masses of vendor hall and artist alley applications that we received, and around February 2019 we shall begin announcing and promoting what fine wares and art you can expect to find at the Exposition this September.
Jennifer Adams Kelley of Trenzalore Events has joined the Exposition team as Track Manager for the Time & Space room programming. Kelley has many years of experience working with Doctor Who fandom events, and has a vast knowledge of pop culture.

Hotel Rooms
Staying in Chicago can be expensive, but we have managed to secure discounted rooms at the Westin O’Hare Hotel starting at $129 per night (plus taxes & fees)
Suites are also available for $179 per night (plus taxes & fees)
Links are coming soon, and we shall post them as soon as the hotel has them finalized, but in the meantime you can book your rooms by calling (800) 937-8461 or (847) 698-6000 and requesting the Steampunk Block when giving the dates of your reservation.
If you are planning on vending at the Exposition, we have a separate block of rooms reserved for you. Upon acceptance to the show and settlement of vendor fees, details and instructions for booking a room in the Vendor Block will be emailed to you.
